Part Time Interventionist (PTI's)

Rosinton Elementary is blessed to have five amazing and knowledgeable Part-Time Interventionists (PTIs) who are dedicated to helping our students grow and succeed. Two of our PTIs are retired Rosinton educators who chose to return to the school they love to continue making a difference in the lives of children.

Our PTIs work closely with teachers, instructional staff, and admin to provide targeted academic support in both reading and math. Using state-approved intervention programs grounded in the Science of Reading and math foundations, they help students strengthen foundational literacy skills, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. In mathematics, PTIs support the development of number sense, mathematical fluency, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning with the use of manipulatives.

Through small-group instruction, intervention lessons, progress monitoring, and support, our PTIs help students build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve academic success. Their dedication and commitment make a lasting impact on our students, teachers, and school community, and we are grateful for the difference they make every day at Rosinton Elementary.
