As the School Bookkeeper, I enjoy helping keep our school running smoothly by managing financial records with accuracy, organization, and care. With four years of experience, I take pride in supporting our staff, students, and families while ensuring our day-to-day financial operations run efficiently.
One of the things I love most about working here is the family-like environment. It's a blessing to be part of a team that truly cares for one another and works together to support our students.
Outside of work, I'm happily married and the proud parent of four wonderful children. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and relaxing with a good book whenever I can.

Hi! My name is Crystal Houk, and I have worked in the Baldwin County School System for the past nine years. I love being part of a school community that feels like family. One of my favorite parts of my job is welcoming new students and families, helping them through the registration process, and supporting our students and staff throughout the school year. My goal is to make every family feel valued, supported, and at home from the moment they walk through our doors. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 20 years, and together we are the proud parents of two wonderful boys who keep life fun, busy, and full of adventure. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, making memories, and cheering on my boys in all they do.

I am so excited to begin my new role as the school clerk! For the past 4.5 years, I have had the privilege of working in our school cafeteria, where I've enjoyed building relationships with our students, families, and staff. Those connections have made our school feel like a second home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our school and community in this new role.
When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my wonderful husband of nearly 15 years and our three amazing children. As a family, we enjoy making memories together through hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. We are also actively involved in serving at our church, which is also an important part of our lives.
I look forward to welcoming families, supporting our students and staff, and helping make each school day a positive experience. I'm excited for this new chapter and can't wait to see what this school year has in store!
