6th Grade Teacher

Hi! I'm Courtney Cunningham, and I'm so excited for another great year at Rosinton Elementary! This year begins my ninth year at Rosinton and my eleventh year of teaching. I teach sixth-grade math and science, and one of my favorite parts of being a teacher is building relationships with my students and watching them grow both academically and personally. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my son, Will, and our puppy, Winnie. We love being outdoors and family game nights.

Hi, I’m Brandy Gier, and I am excited to begin my 17th year in education. This year, I will be teaching sixth-grade English Language Arts and Social Studies, and I am passionate about helping students grow as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Outside of the classroom, I am a proud wife of 21 years and mother of two boys. I love spending time at the beach, getting lost in a good book, and cheering on my favorite team, the Michigan Wolverines. I look forward to another great year of learning, growth, and building meaningful connections with my students.
