Hey there! My name is Mandey Shiver. I was born and raised in Texas and have been teaching for 15 years. I am passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to learn. I believe that building strong relationships with students and their families is the key to student success. My goal is to help every child grow academically, socially, and emotionally while building confidence in themselves!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, dining out, and taking walks with my golden retriever, Bentley! I look forward to a wonderful year full of learning and growing together!
Jacquelyn Peterson

Hello! My name is Jacquelyn Peterson, and I am a second-grade teacher at Rosinton Elementary. As a Baldwin County native, I am proud to serve the community that helped shape me. I have been with Baldwin County Public Schools since 2011 and joined the Rosinton family in 2020. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and have a passion for helping students learn and grow.
Outside of school, my family and I love spending time outdoors and making memories together. In the classroom, my goal is to foster a love of learning while helping students grow into kind, respectful, and responsible individuals. I am honored to be part of each child’s educational journey and look forward to a wonderful year together.
