One School, One Book

At Rosinton Elementary, our One School, One Book initiative brings our entire school community together through the shared experience of reading the same book. Each student receives a copy of the selected book to enjoy at home with their family, while students and staff explore and celebrate the story together at school through engaging activities, discussions, and special events connected to the novel. This school-wide literacy experience reinforces reading instruction, increases family involvement, strengthens the home-school connection, and builds a true community of readers. As students, families, and staff share one story, they develop a love of reading while enhancing vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking, and meaningful conversations both at home and at school.
More than just reading a book, One School, One Book creates lasting connections across grade levels and unites our Rosinton family through a shared literary journey. It is one more way our Rascals learn to Lead, Grow, Connect, and Serve with Kindness and Enthusiasm Every Day! 📚💙🦔
